Merry Christmas, one and all!

Is there anything better than celebrating Christmas in the mountains? If there is, I can’t think of it. All we are missing, other than a traditional English roast turkey, is that big dump of snow. With a bit of luck (and a fair wind, of course) it is coming…

Saturday 27th December is of course the big transfer day for the New Year’s holiday season. As well as a mountain of holidaymakers making their way to the Alps, the biggest snowstorm of the winter is expected to land on Saturday.

Excellent news for the snow base, but maybe not for those flying into alpine airports or tackling the twisting roads up to ski resorts. Obviously we are all hoping this snowfall will set us up perfectly for the winter ahead, but we have our fingers crossed for everyone having a safe journey to their various resorts.

Hope everyone has a very merry Christmas… May snow be with you in the not too distant future.
